Tricia has been doing such a great job with this blog and, although I look at it often, I have never actually posted anything. So here I go...my first blog post.
June 8th, 2010: a day when all baseball fans of this generation will remember where they were at 7:05 eastern. I was sitting on my couch with Avery when Stephen Strasburg made the first pitch of his Major League debut. We sat together and watched the entire game on my laptop. She cheered and swung her bat at the screen with excitement. She was even dressed for the occasion thanks to our good friend Chris Ames who brought her a bib back from Nationals Stadium last year. Now, because of Stephen Strasburg, she can finally wear it with pride!
